Herald Brass Concert

For the past twenty years,the brass quintet, Herald Brass, have spread God’s love through their music not only here in the United States but across the globe, from Turkey to Africa, and to South America. This Christmas season, they have just returned from Bangkok, Thailand to assist in Christmas outreach with Ed and Sue Danneker, Christian and Missionary Alliance International Workers there for over thirty years.  They will accompany worship with Christmas carols, play Christmas favorites, and read and comment on the Christmas story.  

Pastor Lee Nanfelt, a trumpet player and member of Twin Rose Community Band of Wrightsville, joined them to fill-in for a member whose daughter is getting married this season.  He volunteered to substitute as needed when Herald Brass played at ValleyView Members are from Spring Grove, Carlisle, Hellam, Punxsutawney, and The Villages, Florida.  A freewill offering will be taken for future mission trips.
