Keystone Quartet in Concert (Lot is dry with the few questionable spots salted 7:45 AM Sunday Feb. 16)

Sunday, February 16, 2025, 10:15 AM - 12:00 PM

With over 60 years of experience  in praising between the four members, Keystone has been performing in churches all across Pennsylvania, as well as West Virginia and Maryland  You are sure to enjoy the close harmony of the quartet as they sing and praise God. The concert will feature a variety of southern gospel music from both present and past recordings, and will focus on the reason that they sing, and that is to praise the name of Jesus.  Their mission is to “have a Christ-filled music ministry and to always go where God may lead (them)...to minister to the unsaved, be an encouragement to believers and to draw all to a closer and more intimate relationship with our Savior”   Their greatest prayer is that their  music will reach those who are not yet following Jesus.

Members include Soprano/Alto Julie Sloan of Ebensburg, Lead/Baritone Tom Winger of Chambersburg, Bass Jordan Bachman of Dickenson, North Dakota, and  Lead/Tenor Kim Abel, who was born and lives in York, PA area, exposed to Southern gospel music as a boy.  His parents have been involved in area music and have long attended at ValleyView Alliance Church.  His late father, Charles Abel, played clarinet and saxophone; his Mother, Delores Abel, plays organ and piano.

ValleyView Alliance Church and Keystone State Quartet look forward to  enjoying a morning of worship and music with all who come. After all, as Keystone’s motto  Psalm 150:6  states “ Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”  ValleyView Alliance
